I am attorney Janet W. Behnke. I am experienced in virtually every area of civil law, but now limit my practice primarily to family law, wills and probate, and real property litigation.
I have lived in Ocala for most of my life and have practiced law here more than forty years. I have served as the president of the Ocala Marion County Chamber of Commerce, the president of the Marion County Bar Association, and I am a former judge. I am passionate about serving my community and just as passionate about serving my clients.
I consider it a privilege to represent a client, and I take pride in working with my clients on a personal level, whether the issue is simple or complex. I am committed to spending adequate time with each client to understand all issues involved and to carefully consider with the client all available options. I work hard to settle a case without litigation and work just as hard if settlement is not possible, always with the goal of achieving the best result possible.
